Comparative Seismic Data for Kentucky Counties - Based on Maximum Tabulated Values
  This two-page chart lists all Kentucky counties with the 'worst-case' seismic data in accordance to Table 1608.2 of the 2003 Kentucky Building Code Supplement. Values for Fa, Fv, SMS, SMI, SDS, SDI, and .08TS are shown for Site Classes A through E. Seismic Design Categories as a function of Seismic Use Group and Site Class are also shown for each county.

Determination of Mapped Spectral Acceleration Values as a Function of Latitude and Longitude - State of Kentucky (Version 3.1)
 

This Microsoft Excel spreadsheet uses local gridded values obtained from the USGS 2004 National Seismic Hazards Mapping Program, the basis for 2007 Kentucky Building Code seismic parameters. Using either GPS data or coordinates from one of the state plane coordinate systems, values for SS and S1 can be accurately determined by 2-dimensional nonlinear interpolation.

Thiss new version allows definition of site class, occupancy category and building configuration to calculate maximum considered and design spectral accelerations and the Seismic Design Category. A spectral chart is also generated for the data provided.
